At the Scheidplatz square is a major interchange of the same name from bus to tram to subway.
Here we are on tram tracks while in the distance one line 12 tram is about to leave (away from me, just to state that).

The diamond of Serifos is its capital, Chora, which is considered to be a model of a medieval castled settlement, built amphitheatrically on the rocky height of the bay of Livadi , in order to protect it from the pirate invasions.
Dunguaire Castle (Irish: Dún Guaire) is a 16th-century tower house on the southeastern shore of Galway Bay in County Galway, Ireland, near Kinvara (also spelled Kinvarra). The name derives from the Dun of King Guaire, the legendary king of Connacht. The castle's 75-foot (23 m) tower and its defensive wall have been restored, and the grounds are open to tourists during the summer.
The castles slates are from an old school in Kinvara (co.Galway). The school was bought,the owners who bought the castle gave the slates to the castle and are still there today.

This is at St Cyrus just north of Montrose. I didnt see the flock of geese in the top right hand corner when I took the shot, as I was too busy trying to make sure that I got some breaking waves, I was going to crop the geese out, but I think they add to the overall depth that I was trying for with the shot and are in keeping with the flocks of gulls around the house. Let me know what you think.

A calm dawn over the bay. Looking South toward Toe Head which is silhouetted against colours caught between the end of night and the start of day.

Would have liked the coot closer to the camera but also didn't want to lose the lovely pond surroundings & the reflections by focusing in too close so the coot had to stay distant:)
Enjoy a lovely weekend everyone & for those of you struggling with the heat, stay as cool as this coot!
On the strip in Las Vagas, shot from the MGM Grand side of hte street looking west at New York, New York.
My brother is coming to visit next week, He lives near Yosemite and this is one of many photos from a trip to visit him in 2014 and our little day trip to Yosemite National Park. I sure wish it was not on the opposite side of the continent!
